Ok, so it isn't a new old radio, but it does have tubes: a string of vintage radio Christmas lights, fresh from the W9GL/Santa workshop. He stopped by today for a couple beers, and the lights happened as a result.

Something to do with dead tubes. There's even an eye tube on that string. Will these count as part of my tube count if I have them plugged in and lit up while on the net?
